Yoga Etiquette:

Leave your shoes and non-yoga items by the front door in the space provided.

Arrive at least 5 or 10 minutes early to be able to settle in.

Keep conversation in the yoga space at a low level and brief to honor other people seeking quiet for their practice.

Turn off your cell phone or leave it in the car.

Be mindful of other people’s personal space, mat, and belongings.

Be mindful of their time and focus as well.

Follow the sequence offered by the instructor.

Do not give in to feelings of competition.

Do not make inappropriate comments about another’s practice, body, or lifestyle.

Honor Savasana. It is an important part of the yoga practice.

Bring a positive energy to the practice and the space.
